Recently I signed up for Influenster which is a program that allows the consumer an opportunity to test out products for free and provide their feedback. There’s also opportunities to leave reviews on products you’ve already used and receive cashback offers for when you purchase your fav products.
For a person like myself who loves giving feedback and getting cashback; this was the perfect opportunity!
I received my first Influenster Vox Box in December and it contained Bare Minerals Blemish Rescue Spot Concealer.
I received this in the shade Medium Tam 3.5W. The shade was perfect for my skin tone. This concealer promises to conceal and treat your acne, or pimples, blend it away into the skin and make you look as good as new. Sounds amazing right?
Well, hate to be the Debbie Downer but I wasn’t that impressed. It retails for $22.00 so in my humble opinion if I’m paying that much for a concealer it needs to do all that it claims it does and then some.
I didn’t have very many blemishes when I used it, just a few (I did use it over the course of the week to see if it would treat my pimples as it claims). While I did feel it was decent concealing my pimples; it definitely didn’t make them disappear. It was pretty cool for using to clean up my brows. However, I use $3 concealer to do that on a regular basis that not only conceals my blemishes but my dark circles under my eye as well.
Using this product I still ended up utilizing my Maybelline Fit Me concealer and Black Radiance Color Corrector.
In all, the Bare Minerals Blemish Rescue Spot Concealer wasn’t the worst; but it’s not worth the $22.00 it retails for. Have you tried the Bare Minerals Blemish Rescue Concealer? What are your thoughts?
* I received this product complimentary free from Influenster for testing purposes. This in no way shapes my opinion of the product.*
