Hey my beauties! As most of you know, trying to care for your hair can be a daunting task no matter what kind of hair you have! Hair, like any other extension of our body, requires personal care and attention in order to see it flourish. Today I’m going to be talking about some new products that I’ve made apart of my hair care routine that have been helping my hair do just that. The new products I’m referring to come from the new hair care line Form Beauty.
If you’re not familiar, Form Beauty is the sister company to the innovative Bevel; a grooming and shave system best known for their blades and trimmer.
So why was I drawn to Form Beauty?
I liked the fact that their products are cruelty free- not tested on animals! But a major factor for me was their ingredients. No sulfates, parabens, alcohol or any of the other ingredients that a lot of hair care companies don’t mind using but are terrible for your hair. Because I have locs, my hair is more susceptible to build up from products so it’s important for me to choose my products wisely! I also loved the fact that it’s a hair care system designed for ALL types of hair- including my locs!
Before I got started using the product; I made sure to take the Form Consultation first! It’s a brief but thorough questionnaire designed to help recommend a personalized Form Beauty hair care regiment for you.
What products did I end up trying? Form Multitask Leave in Conditioner and Twist Styling Cream. You can watch the video below on how to use it!
Ultimately how did I feel about Form Beauty? I really liked it! One of my chief issues is retaining moisture and twisting my hair with something that doesn’t flake or dry out. The Multitask conditioned my hair nicely and the Twist gave my hair great hold without drying it or or leaving a flaky residue behind!
Is it something I’d recommend for others try? Absolutely! I liked it so much I tried it in my baby boy’s curls because he has hair similar to mine! I’m definitely going to try it out on my two oldest children because they have curls that need care too.
