It’s Sunday night, the weekend has flown by and if you’re anything like me; you are mentally trying to prepare yourself for Monday. With a drink. Sunday doesn’t have to be all bad. Many of us attend various places of worship, and I thoroughly enjoy my congregation so Sundays aren’t all bad.
Whether you’re worshipping or headed out for Sunday brunch; most of us wanna be fashionable when doing so. Why not right? That’s why I seized the opportunity to put on a little number that I just received from one of my new favorite stores Society Plus.
Allow me to introduce the Liv Trapeze Dress. I’ve seen this dress on their site a few times. It comes in black and white and initially that was what drew me to it. I thought to myself; hmmm I like that! But as I was getting ready to hit the ‘add to cart’ button, I rethought the amount of black and white I have in my closet and chose to go with grey and white.
I’m glad I made the choice I did! Grey is a great color because it’s neutral, so you can pretty much accessorize with any color. That’s why I opted for a pair of dark fuchsia flats from Wal-Mart to make this dress pop just right.
What I loved most about this dress is that it’s one of those dresses that’s lightweight enough to wear on an 80 degree fall day in Atlanta; but if paired with the right tights, can easily be worn on 50 degree regular fall day anywhere else in the country where REAL fall is actually occurring. Some boots, a cute denim or leather jacket, an infinity scarf and a hat? Boom! How cute would that be? I don’t know, but when the weather gets a little cooler, I’m sure going to find out.
This dress is a bit stretchy, so it is pretty comfortable. It can cling a bit, so if you’re uncomfortable with your belly rolls, you may opt for control top panties or Spanx. It fits true to size; I’m wearing a 30/32 and I didn’t feel like I was having to adjust myself constantly. The small detail that I didn’t notice on the site is that it does have some ribbing (just an fyi).
In all I give this dress an A! I love it and it will definitely be something I wear again. I love that it’s versatile enough that I can dress it up and down, that’s always a plus in my book.
So what do you say ladies; is Society Plus giving you something you can feel?
