What I Wore: My Looks for TCF Style Expo

So now that its already been a week since the fabulous experience that was the TCF Style Expo here in Atlanta (take me back seriously!); I’m ready to sit down and give full deets on Β my wardrobe for the weekend. I will be honest and tell ya’ll that a lot of thought went into what I wore. I was going to a major networking event with the best of the best; I needed to represent myself and my style well like a walking billboard. So the hunt for a look was on the minute I received that glorious golden ticket email from Pepper Martin.

So let’s dive right in!

Day 1- Blogger Brunch

This was as I was leaving the house. This picture does not accurately capture all the excitement that was running through my veins. Can you tell that I just knew it was going to be a glorious weekend?

Here’s a more close up shot for ya! I was completely comfortable and though my big legs were on display I felt fabulous!

Day 1 – Mixer

Though I didn’t get to party it up too long because hubby and I had dinner plans; I did manage to sneak into the mixer for a moment or two!

I changed up the romper but it’s still a romper no less! If you follow me then you know that rompers have clearly been my thing all summer!

I have been digging hats this summer as well so I made sure to give myself an excuse to wear one the weekend of the expo!

Day 2Β

There was so much more fabulocity on this day. It was Saturday which meant people showed up and showed out since they weren’t at work. Not wanting to be left out I decided to leave my stamp the best way I could!

When the photographer says let’s have an impromptu shoot; you don’t argue!

I’ve owned this skirt for about a year now. I am a huge fan of poplin flare skirts.

I have a love of retro vibes these days; specifically the 40’s and 50’s; so it was only right I added my vintage inspiration in the form of a wool pillbox fastener hat to complete the look.

And it didn’t hurt that I found this cute red clutch with a handle!

I felt great this whole entire weekend! As I stated before; being around such beautiful, amazing and empowering women did something for the confidence! Now that I’ve shared the details on my look; if you’re inspired to shop I hope you feel as fab as I did!

I can’t wait to share my style crushes from the expo either! Be on the look out soon!
